A green building consumes up to 20% fewer resources, both energy and water, and offers enhanced comfort through passive efficiency solutions such as natural lighting and ventilation. Green buildings have resource efficiency and sustainable use of the product throughout the building’s life cycle.

“The elements taken into account when talking about a green building are the efficient use of resources, proper use and reduction of water and energy consumption, but also the tenant’s comfort so that it is not affected by these resource reductions. The lifecycle is extremely important so that the maintenance and operating costs in the medium and long term are as low as possible. This often comes along with a little larger initial investment but lifetime depreciation” said Razvan Nica, managing director of BuildGreen, in the ZF Live business show.
