Timpuri Noi Square office project, developed in Bucharest by Vastint Romania, obtained LEED Platinum sustainable certification, the highest level of certification for the LEED scheme in Romania. BuildGreen was involved alongside Bog’Art in the sustainable certification process of the second phase.
”The first two buildings delivered to the new urban centre of the city centre are already a successful story. The rental process also evidences this. The 32,000 sq.m. will be fully leased in a while. Motivated by these results, we will soon finish the construction of another 63,000 square meters. 20,000 sq.m. in Timpuri Noi Square and another 43,000 sq.m. divided between the three buildings at Business Garden Bucharest.
For all developed projects, we follow the same high standard of environmental certification. Business Garden Bucharest has already earned a LEED Platinum pre-certification in 2015. Obtaining the highest LEED certification standard demonstrates the recognition of Vastint’s efforts to bring sustainable energy-saving projects to the market that reduce energy and water consumption as well as operational waste overall”, stated Antoniu Panait, executive director, of Vastint Romania.
