Globalworth Square

Globalworth Square is a very ambitious project, designed as a business hub focused on sustainability, innovation and efficiency. The building was designed and planned with major attention given to sustainability. It uses a geothermal system under the slab foundation, capable of considerably reducing the cooling and heating costs of the entire edifice.

Moreover, it is one of the few energy-producing buildings in Romania, as an important part of the energy consumption is provided by the photovoltaic roof.

Technology is part of the Globalworth’s DNA, and Globalworth Square is one of the most technological office spaces in Romania. Touchless technology was adopted in all restrooms through IR devices while access to the building and office spaces will be available through Blue-tooth and NFC technologies, supporting another crucial aspect of the building: Health and well-being.

In addition, maximum air quality is achieved as the air handling units are equipped with both in-built humidification and innovative air disinfection ensuring germ-free fresh air introduction at the optimum humidity.

Founded in 2010, BuildGreen is one of the most active consultants in the field of sustainable development, with expertise that covers over 17 European countries. In its 12 years of activity, BuildGreen managed the sustainable development and certification processes of over 200 real estate projects, with a surface of over 5 million sq.m. and an overall investment value of over €8 billion.
