May 26th Warsaw, Poland – EuropaProperty.com and CEO Manufacturing Magazine are proud to announce the semi-final results for the upcoming EuropaProperty CEE Manufacturing Excellence Awards (CEEMEA) representing the most outstanding and accomplished manufacturers, suppliers, companies, and individuals throughout the region in 2013. The anticipated celebration, which will be attended by some of the region’s leading manufacturers, business leaders and individuals, will take place on June 10/11th 2014, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
“The quality of the shortlisted companies for the second annual CEEMEA 2014 awards is very high and some of the most recognized manufacturing sector companies and their representatives will be competing for the highly prestigious awards,” said Craig Smith, Publisher and Founder of EuropaProperty, CEO Magazine and organiser of CEEMEA. “It pleases me greatly that this year we have received a record number of nominations. The sponsors, attendees and judges are senior-level European or Central European directors, which affirms the CEE Manufacturing Excellence Awards as a true industry landmark event,” he added.
Building on the success of the inaugural event, CEEMEA is being hosted in the beautiful InterContinental Hotel ballroom. With over 100 manufacturing executives and 300 industry leaders attending the summit and gala, and with 18 awards covering the leading manufacturers and suppliers, this event is promising to be a not to be missed occasion.
The second annual CEE Manufacturing Excellence Awards & Strategy Summit will support and recognize manufacturing success in all sectors of the industry and is now widely trumpeted as the most prestigious manufacturing awards promoting the region to the international manufacturing sector.
The selected companies will compete over a total of 18 awards for manufacturing business achievement in 2013 including manufacturing, suppliers, companies, industry professionals and excellence in leadership.
Award categories and criteria
In this second edition, five of the most important categories in manufacturing will be covered: Production Innovation, Excellence in Manufacturing Management, Information Technologies for Manufacturing, Sustainability and Environment, and Business and Science.
As well as Manufacturing Supplier & Professional Service Categories: These awards recognize excellence in the advisory and outsourcing services, innovative products and IT Systems that are provided to manufacturing companies.
There will be a Grand Prize for the Manufacturing CEO of the Year. This award distinguishes the best overall manufacturing firm in the CEE region. This award specifically highlights achieved excellence in manufacturing. It confirms the exceptional achievements of the company, which led to its prosperity in every respect, and thus significantly increased its competitiveness.

The awards are judged by an independent elite panel of 41 industry professionals from the leading companies of the manufacturing sector and its international industry partners. The Jury will debate to select the winners of the CEEMEA awards from the shortlisted companies. In order to ensure maximum objectivity and transparency of the final results, the judging procedure is overseen by EY – one of the world’s leading professional services organizations.

The Manufacturing Strategy Summit
CEEMEA awards are also an opportunity to debate on key factors driving the manufacturing sector. On 10th to 11th June 2014, regional, international experts and business leaders will examine the business case for manufacturing investment opportunities at a whole two-day event – The Manufacturing Strategy Summit. This senior level forum will include leadership presentations, panel debates, breakout discussion groups and workshops focused on regional and global manufacturing business. The Summit will also be an ideal opportunity for extensive networking among top leaders, innovators and business minds of the manufacturing sector.
